With only one week of temps in the 110+ range, the summer of 2011 has been a mild one so far. The lavender was beautiful and abundant, and the bees loved every blossom they visited. Again we had some great help from our Wwoofers and they seemed to find plenty of time to relax. The pool has added a whole new dimension for all of us.
Next post will have a report on our dry farmed watermelons. Unbelievable is all I can say.
