Drying & sorting garlic.
Originally begun as a side project in 2005, our 5 acre farm now has two large vegetable gardens bordered by various types of lavender, an orchard of 30 fruit trees of a dozen varieties, an 80’ propagation greenhouse, a shadehouse, olive and almond trees, four honeybee hives, and a spiral lavender labyrinth.
Our goal is to create a farm stand and offer low cost organic fruits, produce, honey, lavender products, and flowers to the local residents.
Ongoing projects include constructing garden walls and a root cellar using natural building techniques, planting a hedgerow of native trees and shrubs, and installing drip irrigation. We are a WWOOF host and you can get involved in these projects through our WWOOF page >>
What a beautiful paradise you have created. Your website is very nice, full of great information and photos. As fellow lavender farmers you bring great joy to the industry with your lovely farm. We are so grateful to have you two as members of the Central Coast Lavender Growers Association. Your stewardship of the land is a gift to all of us! Thanks again lavender friends, do keep up the good work.
Warm Blessings,
Lila
